The use of electronic channels in the private sphere is widely consolidated among citizens. However, in the public sphere, its use still needs to be encouraged in relations between public administrations and those people who are not legally obliged to use it.
The electronic channel facilitates the relationship between the administration and the citizenry. Therefore, it is necessary to encourage its choice as the preferred channel in public relations, preserving, where appropriate, the right to choose the means of communication or to be assisted in the use of electronic media.
From AOC we have adopted initiatives to make the electronic channel a more attractive, usable and trust-generating medium among citizens. An example of this is the e-TRAM 2.0 service, which has been revised with the aim of:
- Simplify procedures, unify them and facilitate processing from mobile devices ( Processing from mobile in an agile, easy and secure way (e-TRAM 2.0) ).
- Reduce the information required when completing procedures ( Why is postal data not requested by default in the new e-TRAM? ).
- Use plain language that makes what is being asked of the user more understandable ( Plain Language Guide ).
Among the revised procedures, those of the registry are included, which are some of the most demanding for citizens. Specifically, the related procedures have been grouped and simplified using clear and understandable language to facilitate their electronic processing ( e-TRAM 2.0 incorporates new procedures of works and registry ).
In this area, it is also worth highlighting the online registry interoperability service offered by AOC which, from the perspective of public administrations, allows the online consultation of municipal registries, with the aim of avoiding citizens from providing documents that are already in the possession of the administrations.
