The Alert Channel is a module of e-TRAM, but it works separately.

Depending on the configuration of the activated contexts (functional scope of the system), it can be used for internal, external purposes or both.

It is not necessary to have e-TRAM activated to use the Alert Channel module, as it is an attached environment. The Alert Channel has its own link, management environment and settings.
