The Alert Channel (formerly the Ethics Mailbox) is a service that the AOC makes available to Catalan public administrations that allows people to provide a channel through which to communicate regulatory violations and conduct contrary to public integrity to the administration. It can be used to communicate violations of internal, external or both.

The protection of the whistleblower is guaranteed, allowing alerts to be submitted anonymously, in accordance with Law 2/2023, of February 20, regulating the protection of people who report regulatory and anti-corruption violations.

The service is free of charge. As a country-based solution based on free software, it is provided free of charge and with support all thanks to the Transparent Governments Network. The technological service is provided by the AOC Consortium in collaboration with the Network.
