1. What are the Generalitat's web forms?
The Generalitat de Catalunya, in processing with other public administrations through EACAT, uses different types of forms depending on the technology used:
- PDF forms
- Web forms (HTML5)
The web forms, made with HTML5 technology, are filled out directly from the browser, without the need to download any files. However, it is advisable to have updated Adobe Acrobat to be able to correctly open and consult the acknowledgment of receipt (the automatically generated documentation ticket), which is generated once the processing is complete.
These forms offer a more streamlined and simple experience.
It is very important to know that when you start an HTML procedure of this type, you are leaving EACAT to access the forms platform of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
Remember that there are some restrictions regarding the operation of EACAT:
- Make sure you have a T-CAT certificate from your institution to enter.
- Save a draft if you can't complete the form; you can retrieve and edit it later from the Drafts tray.
- If someone else needs to sign: the document will not be sent to them automatically. You will have to save it in the Drafts folder and notify the signatory manually.
2. What requirements must be met to process them?
To process a web form from the Generalitat, using HTML5 technology, you must:
- Have the basic permission of EACAT. You can check your permissions within EACAT in Personal space > Services AOC > EACAT Procedures. If you do not have it assigned to you, contact the person managing your entity to request it. If you need to be a signatory for any procedure, also request the signature permission .
- Have access to the corresponding service. If you do not have it, you must request it from your manager from Personal space > Managers > search for the manager and send them an email.
- Have a T-CAT digital certificate for a public worker. The T-CAT is necessary to access and sign the form, as it identifies you as a public worker of the entity from which you are processing.
If you log in to EACAT with your username and password, the system will ask you for T-CAT when you access the form. If you have already accessed EACAT with T-CAT, you may be asked again when entering the procedure.
Remember that if you are a user of more than one entity within EACAT, make sure to use the T-CAT corresponding to the entity you are working with. Otherwise, the system will show you an error. You can change entities from the selector available on the right side of the top navigation bar.
3. Which states have these procedures?
Procedures carried out with the Generalitat's web forms (HTML5) can have two states:
- Processing completed : the process has already been sent. You will find it in the Sent, Received or Received and Sent trays.
- Processing not completed (draft : the process has not yet been sent. You will find it in the Drafts tray.
Currently, procedures carried out with the Generalitat's web forms do not have the status pending signature and, therefore, cannot be saved in the To sign tray. On the other hand, procedures carried out with the AOC Consortium's web forms do incorporate this status and this tray. However, work is underway so that the Generalitat's web forms will also incorporate this functionality soon.
Procedures carried out with the Generalitat's web forms do not have the status Pending Signature or the To Sign tray. For this reason, if the person filling out the form is different from the person who must sign it, it is necessary to save it as a draft and manually notify the person signing so that they can retrieve it from the In Draft tray and sign it.
4. How can you access the procedures?
In EACAT Procedures you can find two types of procedures:
- Initials , they are used to initiate a file and are processed from the Catalog of services and procedures.
- As a response , they serve to provide continuity to the file and are processed from the Processing Space .
Therefore, procedures carried out with the Generalitat's web forms also have initial and response forms and both are completed and sent from the Generalitat's forms platform. When you start a procedure of this type, by pressing Start , an information window is displayed indicating that you are leaving EACAT and heading towards the Generalitat's platform and in the same window write the subject and press Start again to access the form and complete it.
