Statistics associated with visits to Transparency portals are now offered in open data format (CSV).

To obtain the statistical data associated with a specific entity, you must enter its open data portal from its electronic headquarters or transparency portal, as shown in the following image:

Once in the open data space, you can search for the data set that interests you, in this case "Transparency portal visit data", and you will be able to access the details and download the data already filtered for the entity.

However, if what you want is to obtain a global data set (and therefore of all local entities that have the portal), you can access the following link and you will have the global set of information on visits in CSV (in a single file that contains all local entities, which given its volume requires more advanced processing tools than Excel). In both cases the information is updated monthly.

The information that can be obtained is the following:

  1. Number of page views: Total number of page views; repeat visits to the same page are also counted
  2. Number of unique pageviews: The number of unique pageviews is the number of sessions during which the specified page was viewed at least once. A unique pageview is counted for each combination of page URL + Page Title. ( +Info )
  3. Average time on page: The average time users spent viewing a screen or page, or a set of screens or pages.
  4. Bounce rate: Percentage of single-page visits (i.e. visits where the person left the site on the landing page, without interacting with it. +Info )
  5. Bounce rate: Percentage of site exits from a specific page or set of pages ( +Info ).
