Functional requirements

The first case, which we believe is the most paradigmatic and logical, is that in which the documentation of an entity is incorporated into the iArxiu platform from a document manager or corporate application. In this case, the way to enter and consult the documentation transferred to the iArxiu platform is done through the web services provided by the platform, without the need to interact with the iArxiu website. However, they also have the possibility of making the entry and/or consultation using the iArxiu website itself.

The minimum requirements to use the iArxiu platform are the following:

– Have a considered volume of electronic files/documents managed in the document manager. It is mandatory that the files are closed or that they are definitive versions of the documents.

– Be previously familiar with the client's business environment: how their processes that deal with files work, at least from the perspective of the archive.

– Having defined and implemented a document management system in the organization and its instruments, such as transfer calendars, description system, classification table, etc.

– Have defined the data model (metadata) that describes the documents/files to facilitate integration with iArxiu and the creation of transfer information packages

Technical requirements
