The global mailbox is created in the Mailboxes section by selecting the Use mailboxes in entity option. The characteristics that differentiate it from the rest of the specific mailboxes are that:
- It is created automatically and cannot be deleted manually.
- There is only one per entity.
- It contains all the entity's specific and generic services, both current and future.
- Initially, it does not have any users added. They must be added.
The global mailbox is created automatically and contains all the services of the entity, but initially it does not have any users assigned to it. If you need someone to have access to all the services, you will need to specifically assign them to the global mailbox.
