Minimum technical requirements to be a Registration Entity T-CAT

The minimum technical requirements that are necessary and recommended to be a T-CAT Registration Entity are as follows.

Minimum equipment requirements:

• Windows 10

• Processor: Intel Core Duo or Superior CPU / AMD Athlon 64

• RAM: 4GB

• Hard drive: 100 GB

Recommended equipment requirements:

• Windows 10 64-bit

• Processor: Intel Core Duo or Superior CPU / AMD Athlon 64

• RAM: 8 GB

• Hard drive: 250 GB

Software to install:

• Latest version of Javanese

• Version 3.0.124 of SafeSign:

• Safesign for Microsoft Windows
  • Windows 10 And 11 (32-bit) 3.0.124
  • Windows 10 And 11 (64-bit) 3.0.124
• Safesign for Linux
  • CentOS 8
  • Ubuntu 18.04 LTS
  • Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
• Safesign for MAC
  • MAC OS

• Bit4id PKI Manager software version 1.4.10.744
• Recommended browsers: Updated Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge and with support for at least TLS 1.2.
• Extension for Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge

• Program HostInstaller for the correct execution of Java

• Public keys of the AOC Consortium

Apart from these requirements, you will need:

• A card printer (see Public service prices )

• Card reader: The AOC Consortium does not supply readers , users must request readers from their IT providers.
• Connectivity with the following URLs

Once all the requirements have been met, the following tests can be performed to verify that everything is working correctly, and you can authenticate and sign.

• Equipment configuration test
  • Verify raapplet.jar version 1.7.4:

    • Without closing the browser where the test was performed, then verify that version 1.7.4 appears on line 10 of the file C:\ProgramData\Firmaprofesional\rapplet.jnlp on line 10 of the file <jarhref="/bundles/firmaprofesionalrapplet/java/rapplet.jar" main="true" version="1.74" />
  • Verify version of detected card providers:
    • SafeSign Standard Cryptographic Service Provider 3.0.0.3930
    • SafeSign Standard Cryptographic Service Provider (sys64) 3.0.0.3930
