To check the validity of a certificate, you must follow the following steps:

  1. Have the operating certificate:
    • If it is software, we will have it installed in the internet browser (Firefox, Chrome, Explorer, etc.)
    • If it is on a device (card or USB memory), we will have it connected to our computer.
  2. Once step 1 has been confirmed, we access the website https://scd.aoc.cat/test/sign (the recommended browsers to take this test are Google Chrome (Internet Explorer 11 is also recommended, but as of August 2021 Microsoft will stop supporting and updating this browser.
  1. test_sign_certificate Write a test text and select the option with which you want to sign this text.
  2. If we have more than one certificate, we will be asked to select the one we want to check.
  3. It will ask for the certificate PIN if you are using a card certificate.
  4. When the page loads, it will show us the information related to the signature.

How to interpret the results: the result is as shown in the following image. You can see the signed text, the signature (a check indicating that everything was OK ) and information about the certificate that signed the text.
