From the moment a certificate is revoked, both the original certificate and any copies that may have been made will cease to be valid and may no longer be used even if the certificate's expiration date has not yet arrived.
If you want to permanently cancel your idCAT Certificate or, as its holder, you suspect or are certain that a third party has access to your certificate (you have lost it or it has been stolen), you must revoke it. Revocation implies the total deactivation and permanent cancellation of the certificate and any copy of it.
You can revoke an idCAT Certificate online from home or in person at a Registration entity:
Access the page www.idcat.cat in the "Revocation" section:
Fill in the information requested in the form and click on "Certificate Revocation":
Note: If you don't remember the Management Code (Password), you can recover it using the link at the bottom of the page or directly through the following link to have the management code resent to you .
On the next screen, a message will appear indicating that your revocation request has been made correctly.

Once the certificate has been revoked, as it can no longer be used, we recommend that you uninstall it from all browsers and devices where you have it installed.
You can revoke the idCAT Certificate at any idCAT Registration Entity.
