For security reasons, the idCAT Certificate can only be downloaded once . Therefore, it is not possible to download it a second time.

Below we explain the options you have to recover your idCAT Certificate :

  • If you think you might have the original file (the one you downloaded the first time), check how to locate it in Where is my idCAT Certificate? If you locate the .p12 or .pfx file you can reinstall it.
  • If you don't have the original file, but you have it installed in a browser to which you have access, here we explain how to export it to install it on another device: How to export and import the idCAT Certificate?
  • Unfortunately, if you do not have access to the original file or have it installed, you will have to request a new one from an idCAT Registration Entity in person.
