Corporate directory : It is the central repository of GICAR identities.

GICAR : Identity Management and Access Control Platform to Resources, of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

IDP : It is the common identification, authentication and authorization service of the EACAT platform.

S@rcat : Corporate register of incoming and outgoing documents of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

User: Any person who uses the electronic suitcase

Suitcase holder: This is the user who can be the sender or receiver, but can also configure one or more collaborating users in their suitcase, so that they can manage their electronic suitcases with certain permissions.

Collaborating user : This is the user who has been designated by a titular user to manage their suitcases, with certain permissions. A user can be a collaborator of more than one titular, in which case they will be able to manage the suitcases of each of them, according to the permissions they have been given.

The collaborating user can:

• Prepare suitcases on behalf of their owner,

• Read the suitcases that their owner receives if they are not confidential,

And if the position grants the corresponding permissions when defining the collaborating user, they will also be able to

• Sending suitcases in the name of the holder without their consent

Sender / receiver user: This is the user who, as its name indicates, sends or receives the electronic suitcase, and who will be associated with the outgoing (when the sender)/incoming (when the receiver) entry of the register.

Viewer user: This is the user who has defined the sender of a suitcase so that, without being the recipient , they can view it. This user also has the following characteristics:

• You cannot refuse a suitcase.

• When a suitcase is read, no read notification is sent to the sender.

• The suitcase addressed to him has not been registered by S@rcat, as he is not the Recipient .
