The EACAT user manager is the person responsible for maintaining the entity's users on the platform. He or she is responsible for adding and removing users and assigning permissions to the different services.
If you don't know who your user manager is, you can check by accessing EACAT, on the HOME page on the right, you can see who the person or people with this role is in your organization. If you are not a EACAT user, you can consult your superiors, human resources, colleagues...
A single entity can have as many EACAT user managers as necessary . In fact, it is highly recommended that there are at least two to avoid that during periods of absence or vacation there is no one who can register users or assign permissions to the entity.
You may encounter the following situations, which require appointing a new manager:
- The previous manager has left and you do not have an operational manager in EACAT
- The current manager will soon leave the entity.
- The entity's sole operational manager is on vacation.
- You want more than one manager
A) The user manager itself
The user manager himself can register other managers from the "Configuration" tab of EACAT located in the upper right.
Once inside, go to the "Users" section, search for the user and from the "Assign service" section, search for the "Designation of user managers" service and then assign the role "User manager role"
B) You do not have an operational user manager in the organization
If you do not have an operational user manager in your organization, from the AOC Consortium we can register the user you want to carry out these tasks. You can send us the appointment through the specific message “Notification of new user manager for EACAT” from EACAT (it is necessary that a user has signing permissions for the “CAOC – Service request” service).
The submission of the appointment of a new manager is located in the section Procedures > Consortium Provider AOC > Request for Services AOC > Notification of new user manager of EACAT.
In case no one has these permissions, you can send the same information through a generic message addressed to the AOC Consortium.
C) Through the generic instance of the AOC
In case no one in the entity has a EACAT user to send a generic submission to the AOC Consortium, you can send us a generic instance through our electronic office (requires electronic signature).
A document must be attached, signed by the legal representative of the entity, containing the name of the entity and the details of the manager who must be registered (name and surname, NIF with letters, email).
You can try to recover your password through EACAT, see FAQ: Access to EACAT with password
If when trying to request a new password, the system indicates "The NIF and email address are not linked" there is an error in the data entered.
You may encounter two cases:
- You have a digital certificate: In this case you can access the platform with the certificate and view the data contained in your user, from the " Configuration ">My Space section and modify the data.
- You do not have a digital certificate : If there is another manager in the entity, they can modify the data required by the user so that they can reset their password, from the initial screen.
If the data is correct or you do not have a certificate or another manager in the entity, contact the User Service Center of the AOC Consortium to study how to provide an alternative solution.
