1. Where can you change your password?

You can do it from:

  • Personal Space

  • Access to EACAT

2. Who can change their password?

Any user can change their password.

3. When can you change your password?

You can change your password whenever you want in any of these situations:

  • When the password is valid.
  • When the password has already expired.
  • When you don't remember your password.
If your password has expired or you don't remember it, you will have to change it from accessing EACAT, as explained in point 5.

4. How can you change your password from your Personal Space?

Access account_circle Personal space > General > Password
If the password is valid:

  • Press Change

  • Enter your current password as explained in point 6.

  • Create a new secure password

  • Confirm password

  • Press Save

If you do not remember your current password, you will have to change it when you access EACAT again.

5. How can you change your password from accessing EACAT ?

If you don't remember your password:

  • Reset your password at the Forgot your password? link.

  • Enter your identifier (NIF or NIE), the email associated with your account and press Send link.

  • Check your inbox. You will receive an email with instructions with the subject Change password for user EACAT

  • Open the email and press Reset Password.

    • Update password

    • Confirm password

    • Press Change password

6. What requirements should your password have?

It should not contain your name or personal identifier. It should include at least:

  • 8 characters

  • a capital letter

  • a lowercase letter

  • a number

  • a special character ($, &, @, ! or others)

Additionally, all passwords must be renewed every 60 days and cannot be one of the last 10 passwords used.

If the password is invalid, a message will appear asking you to verify that the two passwords are the same and that the requirements are met.

7. Why do you need to change your password?

To ensure that only you can log in with your user name to EACAT and work there, according to the profile that the person managing your entity has configured for you.
